Park Complete but No Lease yet!

The park is complete as of 15th December 2023. Which means come 15th December 2024 I will have to start to pay rent. This first year free was meant to give businesses time to build out their business infrastructure without having the extra expense. Great idea, much appreciated! However, in order to get my plans approved I need to have the final cadastral drawing to submit with my Town and Country Planning Division (TCPD) applications. InvesTT has confirmed with TCPD that this is necessary. eTecK’s Property Officer has stated that it’s not necessary to have the cadastral to apply, despite being on the email thread where InvesTT stated they had confirmed this with TCPD.

Once again I’m stuck in the middle as my engineer agrees with InvesTT that it makes no sense applying unless we have the final cadastral.

Three months have passed since the completion date and I can’t proceed. This feels like I won’t get any benefit from the free year.

Anyhow, the engineer is working on finalising the design drawings and I’m trying to get plumbing and electrical and HVAC designs done. Maybe we can apply as is and then submit the final drawing when we finally get it?

eTecK (Vice President of Projects & Facilities) stated back in November 2023 that they were in the process of procuring a company to do the final surveying to produce the final cadastral. Four months later it seems they have finally hired a company and work is supposed to begin this week on the surveying. This is from a telephone conversation with the Property Officer.
